Who's Who on FFXI - Final Fantasy Beginings
Everyday we get up, we go to work, we enjoy a nice lunch, we come home, and we play Final Fantasy XI. Throughout your journey in Vana'diel, you've no doubt stumbled onto one of the many community websites that have now become some of our favorite out-of-game or in-game places to go. Among these are information sites, podcast sites, community & forum sites, and any other site that revolves around the great FFXI community. But...how did they start you ask? Who started them? Did the owners ever imagine their sites would be so popular? What do they plan for the futures of their sites and what goals do they have for reaching deeper into the community?
Who's Who on FFXI will attempt to answer these questions. Over the next year, Vana'diel Profiles will feature a (WWoFFXI) segment, showing in-depth interviews and details about your favorite community sites. A new interview of a FFXI community site will be posted each month, as well as a new forum section to discuss questions about upcoming interviews and questions you would like to ask. We hope you enjoy this new segment and thank you for your continued support of Vana'diel Profiles.

Player of the Month
Vana'diel Profiles is a growing community, and we are working hard to bring you a unique experience every time you visit. In keeping withthat goal, we'd like to announce a new feature to the site centered around our community--The Vana'diel Profiles Player of the Month. Each month, we will judge members usage of VP via blogs, forums, posts, average time on the site, etc. and pick a player of the month. The PoM will be awarded with their own personal blog, a custom sig with their picture as well as an interview with them displayed on the front page of VP. We hope that this will encourage our members to compete for the Player of the Month position. Happy hunting in Vana'diel!

Well, it certainly has been awhile that I've had the website down, but as you can imagine, it's a tedious process. I'd like to sincerely thank everyone for their patience as the website was reformatted.
Now then, Vana'diel Profiles is a FFXI community geared towards giving FFXI players an interactive experience outside of the world of Vana'diel. Browse the site from work, from home, from the library...anywhere you want, VP will always be there. Accompined with the reformat of the site, there is now a new gallery system in place that I'm sure many users will enjoy. The live chat function is upgraded to a more user-friendly format along with a plethora of new features spread out across the site. Server Change
Server switch details
As you all know, we have switched servers. There are a few things we need to let everyone know about the switch.
- Some data was lost during the switch, most was salvaged, but unfortunately only roughly 90% was recovered
- If your previous login information shows up as incorrect you will need to re-register.
- Some Forum information such as "karma" and posts were lost.
- User Gallery pictures were lost as well as some users profile pictures.
